Thinking of a niche to cover in the first place can be hard. I prefer to think of a few niches in one go, and then compare to see which one is best. The little bit of extra time taken to choose the best niche will pay off in the long-run. I recommend using the following to help you brainstorm some niches:
• Think of your own interests and the interests of your friends, your family
and others.
• Watch television, read magazines, newspapers etc. to try and spark ideas
for a new niche.
• Amazon Bestsellers – by seeing what products are popular you can get
ideas for niches.
• eBay Pulse – once again seeing what products people are searching for
can help you identify a niche
• Google Trends – seeing popular searches that people are making can
help you identify a niche.
